India are off to a horrible start in the Bengaluru Test as their batters crumbled against seam and swing movement of New Zealand pacers. The first day of the Test was washed out and Indian skipper decided to bat first in overcast conditions on Day 2. The move backfired badly as India kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were folded for just 46.

Tim Southee got the first wicket but then Matt Henry and William ORourke bowled brilliantly and ran through India's batting line-up. There were some brilliant catching from the Kiwis as well. It was Conway first to dismiss Sarfaraz Khan and then Matt Henry took a brilliant running catch to get rid of Jasprit Bumrah.

Matt Henry Shows Off New Zealand's Ruthless Attitude And Impeccable Catching

The wicket of Jasprit Bumrah came on the second delivery of the 27th over. William ORourke bowled a shortish delivery, angling into middle and leg and Bumrah went for the pull shot. He only managed a top-edge though and the ball went high in the air towards deep backward square leg. It looked like the ball will fall in no man's land, but Matt Henry at fine leg ran all the way to his left, covering a lot of ground and then dived to grab the catch with both hands.

India were reduced to 40 for 9 after the wicket of Jaspri Bumrah and Rourke in his first Test in India got his fourth wicket. This has been a brilliant performance by New Zealand and they have once again exposed India's vulnerability against quality pace-bowling as India have registered their lowest-ever Test total on home soil.
