On Saturday, October 13, India beat Bangladesh by 133 runs to complete a 3-0 whitewash. The focus has now shifted from T20Is to Test cricket as India will next face New Zealand in a three-match Test series starting on October 16.

The Rohit Sharma-led side has already started preparing for the upcoming tour and are sweating hard in the nets at Chinnaswamy Stadium, which will host the first Test match.

Rahul Dravid Pays A Visit To Team India

In the latest events, the players were welcomed by former India head coach Rahul Dravid, who paid a special visit to the training centre to meet the Indian stars. He was captured engaging in a fun conversation with the T20 World Cup winning stars and was seen sharing a laugh with Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Rishabh Pant. 


Rahul Dravid's Career As A Coach

Rahul took on India's coaching job after Men in Blue's embarrassing exit from T20 World Cup 2021. He built a side and came close to win the fifty-over World Cup in 2023 but lost the finals. Nonetheless, he got his hands on the trophy in his last match as India's coach after Men in Blue beat South Africa in T20 World Cup 2024 final. 

Recently, Dravid also announced his next assignment as he penned a deal with Rajasthan Royals to become their head coach for IPL 2025. Dravid face a crucial test in the coming weeks as he has to prepare the retention list for his IPL side for the upcoming IPL 2025 auction as the deadline for the list is said to be October 31.
