Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali has publicly apologized for his viral catchphrase “King Kar Lega,” originally coined to rally support for former captain Babar Azam. The phrase, intended as a motivational slogan, drew criticism from fans who associated it with Babar’s recent dip in form.
Hasan addressed the backlash during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) press conference, acknowledging the unintended fallout while reiterating his unwavering support for the star batter.
Hasan Ali Opens Up On 'King Kar Lega' Row
Hasan apologized for the unexpected fallout stating, " If you think I've made a big mistake, I apologize to everyone. My statement is the same," He is the best, he was the best, he will come out of this stage."
Despite the apology, Hasan Ali stood firm in his defence of Babar, emphasizing the latter’s stature as Pakistan’s premier batter and backing him to regain his rhythm.
"I am at that stage of my career where nothing hurts me. I've been through these difficult times. We've made him a king, and we're the ones behind him. If he won't score runs based on what I say, then I say the 'King Nhi Kre Ga'."
Hasan Opens Up On His Social Media Immunity!
Unfazed by online trolling, Hasan added that he has grown immune to social media negativity. His loyalty to Babar isn’t new, last year, he declared:
"He is my king, he is the king of Pakistan cricket... I know people may abuse me again, but he is the best batsman of Pakistan and he has proved it."
While Hasan’s on-field prowess shone in the PSL clash, his team’s struggles underscored a bittersweet outing for the seamer, blending personal success with collective disappointment. His rally behind Babar Azam saw the Pakistan star batter fall out for a duck in the first game and for just one run in the other.
