The first Test between Pakistan and England is finally underway and all eyes would be on the home team after their loss against Bangladesh. Under Shan Masood, Pakistan have not won a single Test match so far, and the calls of his removal are going round in Pakistan media. So, the  left-handed batter is under immense pressure and Ramiz Raja while hosting the toss in Multan did not shy away from taking a dig at Shan Masood's situation.

Ramiz Raja, the former Pakistan cricketer and now a renowned commentator and presenter first welcomed Ollie Pope and then Shan Masood, the home captain. However, after mentioning that Shan Masood is ready with the coin, Raja also added that the Pakistan skipper has smile on his face and told him to keep the smile intact as he needs it with criticism all around it. It sounded like a sarcastic comment from Ramiz Raja and it would be interesting to see how Shan Masood reacts with his skills on the cricket field.

"He's got smile on his face, Keep that smile on boss. You need it."

Shan Masood Wins Important Toss In Multan

He started the game on the right note though by winning the toss and deciding to bat first on a flat-looking Multan pitch. England managed to get an early breakthrough with wicket of Saim Ayub, but Shan Masood and Abdullah Shafique played out the first over with caution after that and would be looking to capitalise as the day progresses.

Ramiz Raja is a well-respected name in the world cricket and has even served as PCB chairman in the past. Ramiz Raza also recently supported Babar Azam and slammed Pakistan's outrage culture. He, however, did not shy away from bashing Shan Masood's captaincy Pakistan's poor performance with the ball against Bangladesh on his YouTube channel.
