In the ongoing Women's T20 World Cup 2024 match between India Women and Sri Lanka Women at the Dubai Stadium, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side are in the driver's seat after a stellar show with the bat. 

India, batting first, put 172 runs on the board, the highest total in this year's women's T20 World Cup, surpassing South Africa's 167. Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana stitched fifty-plus scores, which helped India put a massive total on the scorecard.

Radha Yadav Takes A Blinder

In the bowling, Renuka Singh striked in her first over, but credit goes to Radha Yadav, who took a blinder to get rid of Vishmi Gunaratne. Notably, on the 2nd ball of the first over, Vishmi danced down the track to cut down the swing and tried to hit Renuka over the mid-off fielder.

However, a top-edge deflected the ball towards the off-side, and Radha Yadav took a stunning running catch. She also stretched and dived to her right, and took a blinder. The Indian players were also elated after the brilliant effort in the field. 

Radha Yadav Yet To Find A Place In The Indian Team

It is worth noting that Yadav was in the field as a substitute fielder. She is finding it hard to find a place in the Indian team as the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side have shown confidence in the team they picked in the first match of the tournament.
