Up against a huge Pakistani total, England lost captain Ollie Pope for a two-ball duck to ace quick Naseem Shah. Thereafter, opener Zak Crawley and number three Joe Root upheld England’s ‘BazBall’ aura with an unbroken 92-run partnership from just 112 deliveries.
