In a significant development around Champions Trophy 2025, there are reports that the tournament is likely to be held in hybrid model. According to a report from Telegraph UK, Dubai has emerged as the potential venue to host the finals in case India qualifies for it. 

Otherwise, the report added that Lahore would be the venue to host the finals of Champions Trophy 2025. Not just the finals, but if India qualifies for the last four, then also the PCB would have shift their games outside Pakistan. Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are the two options that the board is mulling to host India games. 

Mohsin Naqvi Remarks On Champions Trophy 2025

Meanwhile, as per the schedule, all group stage games of the Men in Blue are scheduled in Lahore, which is just two hours away from the border and is made keeping the security threats in mind. 

The latest development around India's participation in Champions Trophy 2025 is that BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla recently revealed that the decision regarding India's participation will be taken by the Indian government. Further, Shukla added that no decision would be made before 2025. 

On the other hand, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, reiterated that the Champions Trophy 2025 would be held in Pakistan. He said: 

 “The Indian team should come.We are confident we will host all the teams in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan.”

Jay Shah And Mohsin Naqvi To Hold A Meeting

In a significant move, Jay Shah is scheduled to meet with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Dubai on October 20. The fans are anticipating concrete decision to be taken in regards to Champions Trophy 2025. 

Despite the anticipation, neither of the two boards have hinted at the agenda of the meet to be about Champions Trophy 2025.
