Pakistan will meet England again in the second Test match of the three-match Test series at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan on Tuesday, October 15. The first Test match went down as one of the most iconic Test matches ever, as despite a 550-plus score in the first innings, Shan Masood and Co failed to register a win.

PAK Get Off On The Wrong Foot As England Triumph

Pakistan posted a formidable total of 556 runs in their first innings on a flat Multan pitch, thanks to centuries from Abdullah Shafique (102), Shan Masood (151), and Agha Salman (104).  Their 253-run second-wicket partnership laid a strong foundation, supported by notable contributions from Saud Shakeel (82) and others. However, England's bowlers worked hard for their wickets, with Jack Leach (3/160) and Brydon Carse (2/74) leading the attack.

In response, England declared at a staggering 823/7, bolstered by record partnerships from Joe Root (262) and Harry Brook (317). Brook's innings was not just a personal milestone, but also a significant moment in English cricket history, as he became only the sixth Englishman to score a Test triple century.

Chris Woakes struck early, dismissing Shafique for a golden duck, and Pakistan struggled to recover, collapsing to 220 in their second innings. Despite a valiant effort from Agha Salman (63) and Aamir Jamal (55), they fell short by an innings and 47 runs, trailing 1-0 in the series.

Now, while the two prepare two meet each other yet again, let's take a look at the weather predictions for this clash.
