Former Indian legend, Sachin Tendulkar made a dashing appearance at the National Football League (NFL), a professional American football league. During his presence, he was honoured by a special jersey by NFL. Team owner Jerry Jones presented him with a custom Number 10 jersey in a special honour during a Dallas Cowboy NFL game.

As a co-owner of the NCL, Tendulkar is working to introduce cricket to new American audiences with its innovative Sixty Strikes format. His recognition at one of the NFL's most iconic venues marks a significant moment in bridging the worlds of cricket and American sports.

Cricket X Football: Tendulkar Expresses Gratitude

In a unique crossover between cricket and football, Tendulkar kicked off the NCL’s community outreach efforts by inspiring hundreds of young athletes at the University of Texas at Dallas. In an interview, Tendulkar expressed his gratitude and shared how incredibly fulfilling his experience at NFL has been.

“Cricket has given me so much, and being here in Dallas—both teaching these young athletes and receiving this incredible recognition—has been truly humbling. Inspiring these kids and sharing my journey with them has been incredibly fulfilling. I want them to know that with dedication, passion, and belief, they can achieve anything—whether on the cricket field or in life.”

The Growing 'NCL' 

The NCL features some of the biggest legends such as Shahid Afridi, Suresh Raina, Shakib Al Hasan, and Chris Lynn to name a few. The league is setting itself to be one of the marquee events of international cricket. Based in Dallas, the league has also drawn cricketing greats such as Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram, and Sir Vivian Richards, who are actively coaching the emerging talent within the tournament.
