Good news seems to be on the cards of India's white-ball captain, Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh, who are expected to welcome baby soon. A viral video circulating on social media suggests that the couple is pregnant.

In the video, Ritika and Rohit are seen exiting the airport, and Ritika looks back and is seen chit-chatting with her friends. She then proceeds to exit through a glass door and her adorable baby bump is evidently visible. The video captioned, 'Jr Sharma incoming....' has hinted at their pregnancy.

While Ritika is seen wearing a comfortable white dress with a denim jacket, Rohit is seen wearing a white T-shirt and grey jeans.

Rohit Sharma To Become A Father Again


Rohit and Ritika already have an adorable daughter, Samaira Sharma, who was born in Mumbai in 2018 while her father, Rohit Sharma, was playing for India in Australia. Her arrival brought immense joy to both the Sharma family and Rohit’s millions of fans. Now with news of another child on the way, the couple is set to double their joy in the near future.

However, it must be noted that neither Rohit nor Ritika have made an official announcement and the news about this pregnancy could very well be a hoax.

Rohit To Miss First Test vs Australia

In an interesting turn of events that further fuel the 'pregnancy rumours', are the PTI reports suggesting that India would likely be without their captain, Rohit Sharma, for the Perth Test upcoming five-match Border-Gavaskar series in Australia. The reports further state that Rohit has requested BCCI that he may have to skip the first Test scheduled at Perth on November 22 due to a personal matter. 

Rohit Sweats It Out Ahead of NZ Challenge

Meanwhile, India under the guidance of Rohit Sharma will be crossing blades against New Zealand for a three-match Test series against New Zealand, starting on October 18. Amid the upcoming series, Rohit was seen batting his heart out and practicing hard in the nets of Bengaluru's, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, which will also host the first Test between the two sides.
