In a memorable T20I contest, India beat Bangladesh by 133 runs to clinch a series sweep victory over Bangladesh. Sanju Samson's exhilarating ton, coupled with Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya's late carnage, India set up its highest total ever of 297 in T20I history. Bangladesh succumbed to pressure and went down 164/7 to endure a 133-run humiliating defeat.

Here’s the timeline of how IND vs BAN panned out in Hyderabad-

IND Vs BAN Highlights: Sanju Samson slams blazing ton

Surykumar Yadav opted to bat first amid a roaring crowd at Hyderabad, and Sanju Samson assured full entertainment on a batting-friendly pitch. He unleashed carnage over Bangladesh pacers to slam a 22-ball fifty before eventually scoring a century off just 40 balls.

Samson hammered 8 sixes and 11 boundaries in his 111 off 47 balls knock. Moreover, his 173-run mammoth partnership with Yadav steered India to 200 runs total in just 14 overs. Surya, meanwhile, also supported brilliantly from the other end as he rammed 75 in 35 balls with 5 sixes and 8 fours.

IND Vs BAN Highlights: Pandya- Parag's finishing touch steers India to record total

Sanju Samson and SKY then passed on the baton to Riyal Parag and Hardik Pandya as the duo slammed another 70 runs combined in four overs. While Parag muscled 4 sixes in his 34 off 13 balls stay at the crease, Hardik slammed 47 off just 18 with four sixes and as many fours. Owing to the stellar show from the batters,  India finished with its highest total in T20I history i.e 297/6.

IND Vs BAN Highlights: BAN top order surrender to Mayank Yadav, Bishnoi

The pressure of 297 mammoth total got the better of Bangladesh's top order as Parvez Emon was dismissed by Mayank Yadav off the very first ball of the chase. Washington Sundar latched onto the momentum to deceive Tanzid Hasan with extra bounce, leading to a low catch at backward point.

Though Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy built a 50-run partnership to offer some resistance. However, the pressure of piling required run rate forced Das to hole out to Tilak Varma at cow corner. Wickets kept tumbling, and Bangladesh was reduced to 139/7 at one stage.

IND Vs BAN Highlights: Hridoy's resistance in vain as India complete whitewash

Towhid Hridoy showed some fighting spirit from one end as he slammed 63 off 42 balls. However, the chase never got going and his lone effort was never going to be enough. Eventually, Bangladesh were restricted to 164/7 and India secured a 133-run victory to successful clinch a series sweep victory.
