The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced a strong 15-player India A squad for the upcoming 2024 ACC Emerging Asia Cup. Rising star and Mumbai Indians middle-order stalwart Tilak Varma is set to lead the 15-player travelling group in Oman later this month.

Apart from Varma, the India A team also features the likes of Abhishek Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Vaibhav Arora and Rahul Chahar.

Mumbai Indians star batter Tilak Varma is set to lead the India A team in the 2024 Emerging Asia Cup in Oman. Fellow international stars like Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Chahar and IPL cult heroes like Vaibhav Arora, Ayush Badoni and Nehal Wadhera also found a spot in the 15-player squad.

With mere days prior to the launch of the 2024 Emerging Asia Cup, here is a look at the entire India A squad for the tournament:

Tilak Varma (c), Abhishek Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Nishant Sindhu, Ramandeep Singh, Anuj Rawat, Prabh Simran Singh (wk), Nehal Wadhera, Anshul Kamboj, Hrithik Shokeen, Aaqib Khan, Vaibhav Arora, Rasikh Salam, Sai Kishore and Rahul Chahar.

The 2024 ACC Emerging Asia Cup is scheduled to launch on October 18. India A is clubbed in Group B of the tournament alongside UAE, hosts Oman and arch-rivals as well as defending champions Pakistan A.

As many as 15 matches will be played during the 10-day period, and each fixture will be hosted by the Oman Cricket Academy Ground in Muscat. The India A team will be expected to take flight for Oman within the next few days.
