MS Dhoni, the iconic Chennai Super Kings (CSK) former captain, is already making waves ahead of the IPL 2025 season with his latest stylish hairdo. Known for reinventing his looks over the years, Dhoni has once again caught fans' attention by sporting a fresh and trendy hairstyle done by celebrity stylist Aalim Hakim.

MS Dhoni, 43, is set to return to IPL 2025 potentially as an uncapped player as IPL governing body has tweaked rules for retired Indian players. Those who haven't played an international game in the last 5 years will be eligible to be retained as uncapped players for a relatively lower price.

And MS Dhoni fits into the policy perfectly, having last played an international game in 2019. However, CSK are yet to take a final call on Dhoni's future as they await clarity on certain mega auction rules.

Ahead of the 2025 IPL season, MS Dhoni went to celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim to seek a fresh look. In pictures shared by Hakim, Dhoni went short again with his hair and also got soft golden highlights.

Dhoni begins training for IPL 2025

CSK former captain MS Dhoni was recently spotted riding his bike, heading to the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) for a workout session with the IPL 2025 mega auction on the horizon. 

Notably, this sighting came just a day after a significant update regarding IPL 2025, which more or less confirmed that Dhoni would be participating as an "uncapped" Indian player. Speculation had been rife about Dhoni's retirement after IPL 2024, but this new development has reignited fans' hopes.
