46 all-out a home - when was the last time you heard Team India getting bamboozled in home conditions? This is what happened on Day 2 of the first Test against New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

On a cloudy morning with a seaming deck on offer, captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and raised eyebrows when he elected to bat first. These were typical Kiwi conditions and their bowlers reaped rewards as Matt Henry and William ORourke ran riot and shared 9-wickets amongst themselves.

The carnage started with the early wickets of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Sarfaraz Khan. Interestingly, both Kohli and Sarfaraz were dismissed for pain-staking ducks.

The other India opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, too, struggled as India had no answer to New Zealand's brilliant bowling. India continued to lose wickets at tandem as Matt Henry picked up a 5-wicket haul and in total 5 individual scores of zero were registered by the Indian team, which is a record in itself.

After a shambolic first-innings performance, netizens couldn't control their anger and trolled the Indian side for their batting display against the Kiwis.

Henry dismantles Indian batters with superb spell

Matt Henry has always delivered against India, and he showcased his love once again with a brilliant spell to bamboozle the Indian batters.

With William ORourke doing the damage by picking up Kohli's wicket, it was time for the Henry show as he scalped Sarfaraz Khan for a duck. He then followed it up with wickets of Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin, and interestingly, both the batters failed to open their acoount.

His biggest scalp was the dangerous Rishabh Pant, who was the highest scorer for Team India (20). Henry capped off a scintillating day by picking up the final wicket of Kuldeep Yadav to complete his fifer.
