Ravindra Jadeja, India's prolific all-rounder, was seen enjoying some leisure time with his horses in his hometown, Jamnagar, after the conclusion of the India-Bangladesh Test series. He will next be seen in action during the home Test series against New Zealand starting from October 16.

Ravindra Jadeja might have called time on his T20I career, but the veteran all-rounder is very keen to excel in the red ball format. In the recent two-game Test series against Bangladesh, Jadeja played a vital role with the ball as well as the bat to help India secure a whitewash.

In the Chennai Test, Jadeja scored 86 off 124 balls to build a match-saving 199-run partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin. He later backed it up with five wickets in two innings combined.

Ravindra Jadeja achieves special feat with 300 Test wickets

Ravindra Jadeja scripted history during the second Test against Bangladesh by becoming the third Indian all-rounder to achieve the double of 300 wickets and 3000 runs in Test cricket. He joined the esteemed company of Ravichandran Ashwin and legend Kapil Dev.

Notably, Jadeja reached this milestone when he dismissed Khaled Ahmed, marking his 300th Test wicket. Furthermore, he is only the seventh Indian bowler and globally 11th cricketer to take 300 Test wickets.
