After an embarrassing defeat in the first Test, Pakistan will host England for the 2nd Test match at the Multan Stadium on October 15. Both teams have announced their playing XI and made considerable changes for the forthcoming tie. Further, England would look to seal the series, while Pakistan would eye to avenge their defeat in the first match.

For the 2nd Test, Pakistan have made four changes to their playing XI. Earlier, they made changes to their squad for the 2nd and 3rd Test and dropped the likes of Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah. 

Meanwhile, for the upcoming match, Pakistan will play four spinners and Aamer Jamal will be the sole seamer as the pitch promises to be a rank turner. 

Kamran Ghulam has replaced talismanic batter Babar Azam at number four in Pakistan's playing XI. Meanwhile, Zahid Mehmood, Sajid Khan, and Noman Ali will lead the spin attack. 

England

For England, their regular skipper Ben Stokes returns to the side and will also lead the side. Stokes missed the last four Tests for England because of a hamstring injury he sustained during The Hundred. Other than Stokes, England have rotated their bowlers, and Gus Atkinson has made way for Mattew Potts for the 2nd Test.

Further, Chris Woakes, who was impressive on his Asia return, will sit out as he gets replaced by Stokes. Talking about form, Harry Brook and Joe Root would be eager to bat, as Pakistan have asked for the same pitch at Multan that was used in the first Test.
