Mohsin Naqvi Drops Major Hint On Women’s PSL

More than a decade ago, when T20 cricket was taking the center stage, the cricket-playing nation planned to have its own T20 franchise league. As the idea was a big hit, later on, they introduced women’s T20 franchise leagues, and fans enjoyed every bit of it.

Following the global footsteps, Pakistan also introduced its own franchise league, the Pakistan Super League, in 2016. Nearly a decade later, the women’s version is still in the works. However, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi recently teased an exciting update, hinting that the Women’s PSL could soon become a reality.

“We’re working on a couple of projects and will update you in the coming days. We’re properly working on it.” Naqvi said.

Pakistan To Not Travel To India For The 2025 Women’s World Cup

The cricket world is all set to enjoy another thrilling cricket tournament as the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is on the way. As India is hosting the prestigious tournament, Pakistan's Women’s side will not travel to India.

Drawing a parallel to the men’s Champions Trophy, where India’s men’s team didn’t travel to Pakistan, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed Pakistan Women will not travel to India for the upcoming tournament.

After exciting outings at the qualifier stage, the Pakistan Women qualified for the upcoming mega event after beating the West Indies Women. As the tournament is commencing on September 29, fans are eagerly anticipating another action-packed World Cup.
