Out-of-favour Indian pacer, and currently the mainstay of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) side in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, appeared on The Ranveer Show (TRS) podcast. During the podcast, the right-armer revealed his favorite side in the inaugural season of the cash-rich extravaganza.
Bhuvi Expresses His Love For Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan
Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has been out of the sight since the past few years, is doing decently well in the ongoing IPL 2025 with his current team RCB, after being bought in the auction for a record sum of INR 10.75 crore.
After representing the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) side for quite a few seasons, he made a switch to RCB in the current edition after being let go by his former franchise before the mega-auction.
In the recent podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia on his channel, The Ranveer Show (TRS), the Indian pacer expressed his love for Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan.
Speaking during the podcast, Bhuvi expressed that Shahrukh is someone who talks very gracefully and is very humble, as he talks and behaves like his best friend whenever he meets him.
Additionally, the pacer further added that because of Shahrukh Khan, he was supporting Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the inaugural edition of the IPL back in 2008.
And not just this, Bhuvi further went on to name a few of the movies that he loves watching, which includes Ram Jaane, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Koyla and Duplicate.
"In 2008, I supported KKR due to Shah Rukh Khan - he is so humble, talks very normally like a best friend - I love all his movies, Ram Jaane, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Koyla, Duplicate".

In the ongoing IPL 2025, Bhuvi, who has featured in five matches so far, has managed to pick six wickets at an economy of 7.84, while averaging 24.83 where he has delivered 19 overs for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru side.
As for the RCB side, they are currently at third place on the table with four wins in six matches, while losing two, while having eight points and a healthy net run rate of +0.672.
They will next be up against the Punjab Kings side on April 18th, to be played at their home ground in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
