There is a general belief that since LSG will be bowling second, Rishabh Pant might bring in the X-factor Mayank as an impact player to trouble the DC batters, but there could be a chance that the Ekana Cricket Stadium might not witness their star boy play today. Here is one key reason why he might not get a game despite being named in Impact Subs.

Why Mayank Yadav might not play Vs DC

In the last game against RR, Mayank Yadav was there in the Impact players list, but LSG opted to choose Ayush Badoni instead. The reason was that the team lost a flurry of wickets and LSG pressed the panic button as they decided to bring in an extra batter to compensate the early loss of wickets.

LSG are batting first again and if the same situation arises, the franchise might again opt for a batter as an impact player instead of Mayank.
