Virat Kohli is the legend of the game, and even at the age of 36, he is churning out one match-winning knock after another. In the game against Punjab Kings, he once again displayed his class, and came up with an unbeaten knock of 73 from just 54 balls.
The knock took RCB to a crucial win over Punjab Kings, and Virat Kohli ended up winning the Player of the Match Award (POTM) for his knock. It is his 19th POTM award in IPL and with it, he has gone past MS Dhoni, who has 18 POTM awards to his name. Also, Kohli has equalled Rohit Sharma, who also has 19 Player of the Match awards in IPL.
Rohit and Kohli have third highest number of POTM awards in IPL while Chris Gayle is at the second position with 22 awards. The top of the list is another RCB legend, AB de Villiers, who has 25 POTM awards.
