The India great is never afraid to say out his thoughts during a cricket game and is also known for his funny celebrations. A similar incident happened during the IPL match between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings.

Kohli's wild celebration after RCB win goes viral

In the match, Kohli was at his animated best as he had a point to prove after his rare failure in the last IPL match against PBKS. In a tricky run-chase of 158. Kohli anchored the innings to perfection as on a difficult surface, Kohli stayed till the end and slammed his 67th fifty-plus score in IPL.

After taking his team to a 5th away win of the season, the former RCB captain mocked Shreyas Iyer with a wild celebration, and for a brief moment it felt that Iyer didn't like the gesture.


However, towards the end it looked like the duo reconcile as they had a light-hearted laugh. This was a statement from Kohli towards Punjab Kings since the franchise mocked Kohli a few days ago with his famous celebration.

Kohli, Padikkal steer RCB to 5th away win

RCB elected to bowl first after wining the toss and the decision paid off as wickets tumbled at regular intervals. Barring the openers, no one else stood tall as some brilliant death bowling by Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar restricted the team to a below-par total.

In reply, RCB lost Phil Salt early, but Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal forged a match-winning partnership as the duo steered their team to a comfortable win.
