Punjab Kings Struggle In Mullanpur Against RCB
Shreyas' absence on the field is a big blow for Punjab Kings as they have only 157 on the board, and need to be on their toes throughout the second half. Shreyas has been fantastic as a captain in this seasons so far, and Punjab Kings would be hoping that he gets back on the field as quickly as possible.
The news of Shreyas Iyer walking off the field came after the powerplay of RCB's innings and the home team would be hoping that their skipper gets back on the field quickly. As far as the match is concerned, RCB are taking a pole position. Their bowlers did brilliantly to restrict Punjab Kings to 157 after the home team's openers got off to a good start.
Shreyas Iyer failed to live upto the billing, with Suyash Sharma and Krunal Pandya picking two wickets each. In the run-chase, Phil Salt departed early, but Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal are batting well, and look set to take revenge of the loss they suffered at the Chinnaswamy.
