On Saturday, April 19, Rajasthan Royals scripted history as they featured 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the playing XI against Lucknow Super Giants. The RR star became the youngest player to feature in the cash-studded league.

Notably, in the ongoing match, LSG, batting first, put 181 runs on the board. In reply, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who came to open the innings as Sanju Samson's replacement, took the league by storm as he introduced himself with a maximum off his first ball.

Notably, Vaibhav registered for the auction at a base price of 30 lakhs and found interest by two teams. It is worth noting that both Rajasthan and Delhi Capitals were in contention to avail 14-year-old's services, but RR won the battle as they bought Vaibhav for 1.1 crores at the auction. 

Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, Rajasthan are 38/0 after 2.5 overs and Suryavanshi is batting on 19 (7), which has featured a four and two sixes.
