In a phenomenal achievement, India recorded their highest-ever team total in T20 Internationals. Led by Suryakumar Yadav, the Men in Blue attained the landmark during the ongoing third T20I against Bangladesh at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Previously, India's highest-ever T20I total was 260/5, which they posted against Sri Lanka in Indore in 2017. However, they breached the score in the final dead-rubber against Bangladesh, with Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav headlining their batting dominance.

Abhishek Sharma Falls Cheaply Before SKY, Samson Destroy Bangladesh

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, India had the worst possible start to their innings, with Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissing the out-of-form Abhishek Sharma for four runs. However, the southpaw's departure was a blessing on disguise for the hosts, as it united the swashbuckling batters Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson.

While Samson shattered multiple records with a breathtaking century, Suryakumar struck eight fours and five gigantic sixes for his whirlwind 35-ball 75. After the explosive duo departed in quick succession, Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag continued the onslaught, hammering the Tigers to all parts of the ground.

The batters' incredible team effort helped India register their highest-ever team total, bettering their previous best.

India Set An Improbable Target For Bangladesh

Riding on Samson and Suryakumar's stunning knocks and valiant cameos from Pandya and Parag, India set an improbable 298-run total for Bangladesh in the final T20I in Hyderabad. The target seems unachievable, so the visitors should at least try to put up a spirited performance and conclude the series with their heads high.
