India's explosive batter Sanju Samson showcased his incredible power-hitting skills in the ongoing third T20I against Bangladesh at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. After completing a blistering fifty off just 22 deliveries, Samson stunned Bangladesh's premier spinner Rishad Hossain with five consecutive sixes.

The incident occurred during the tenth over of India's innings when Bangladesh desperately needed someone to break the scintillating second-wicket stand between Samson and Suryakumar Yadav. However, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto's decision to bring Rishad Hossain into the attack backfired on the visitors, with Samson smashing him for five successive sixes.

Bowling the second over of his spell, Rishad delivered a good-length ball, as Sanju Samson missed the pull shot. However, as he tossed the ball up, the Kerala batter hammered him for a gigantic maximum.

Rishad didn't learn from his mistake and kept feeding full-length deliveries to Samson, as the batter dispatched the next three balls into the stands. Although the leg-spinner pulled the length back, it had no impact on Samson, with the stylish right-hander concluding the over with another maximum.

India Race Towards A Towering Total In 3rd T20I

After Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bat first, India had a brisk start to their innings, courtesy of Samson's fireworks. However, the batter lost his opening partner Abhishek Sharma at the other end, with Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissing him for the second consecutive time in the series.

But as soon as skipper Suryakumar joined Samson in the middle, India's score increased at a rapid pace. The explosive batters capitalised on Bangladesh's lacklustre bowling attack, putting up the highest-ever second wicket stand in T20 Internationals. Riding on these two batters' exploits, India had raced to 179 for one in 12 overs as of writing.
