Hardik Pandya almost got hold of dangerous Travis Head during MI vs SRH IPL 2025 game. However, a no-ball provided a lifeline to the SRH batsmen and MI owner, Nita Ambani wasn’t pleased with the events that unfolded at Wankhede Stadium.
Mumbai Indians hosted Sunrisers Hyderabad in an important fixture of the IPL 2025 season. While Hardik Pandya opted to bowl first, SRH opener Abhishek Sharma got a few lifelines in the powerplay. However, the skipper got rid of him in the 8th over.
Interestingly, Hardik had another opportunity to send back dangerous Australian, Travis Head. However, a dramatic twist left the MI owner fuming at the Wankhede Stadium.
Nita Ambani’s Reaction to Hardik Pandya’s No-Ball Is Viral
In the 10th over of the first inning, MI captain Hardik Pandya thought he had dismissed the dangerous Travis Head, only for the celebrations to come crashing down with the sound of the no-ball siren.
In what could’ve been a game-changing moment, Head flicked a full delivery off his pads straight into the hands of Will Jacks at deep mid-wicket. The Mumbai Indians camp erupted wild thinking they had removed SRH’s biggest threat.
But then came the twist. Umpire Jayaraman Madanagopal signalled the dreaded no-ball, and the crowd’s cheers turned into stunned silence. Even Hardik himself had to double-check with the umpire before walking back to his mark. And MI owner Nita Ambani also wasn’t pleased as she saw everything pan out from the Stadium.
Meanwhile, Head couldn’t make the most out of his lifeline as he was dismissed on 28 off 29 by Will Jacks. The SRH batting lineup collapsed but ended up with a total of 162 runs as Aniket Verma and Pat Cummins slammed 22 runs off Pandya's last over.
