After Babar Azam, his good friend, Mohammad Rizwan is also having a torrid time as of late. After a scintillating ton Vs Bangladesh in the first Test, Rizwan has gone through a rough patch and hasn't score anything significant since then.

In the ongoing Test match against England, Rizwan was one of the senior most batters and was expected to deliver, however, he did decently in the first innings, but failed to deliver in the crucial second innings of the Multan Test.

This was the third successive time that English pacer, Brydon Carse got the better of Rizwan and made his his bunny. He dismissed him in the second innings of the first Test, and followed it up with twin strikes in the ongoing game.

In the second innings, he had a perfect setup to take Rizwan's wicket. Despite the ball not doing much off the surface, England captain, Ben Stokes persisted with keeping slip cordons for the Pakistan keeper.

Rizwan is always vulnerable outside the off and Carse took advantage of it. He bowled a length ball outside the off and forced the batter to play at it with hard hands. The ball took the outside-edge and the slip fielder took a simple catch.

Pakistan in commanding position on Day 3

In the ongoing second innings, Pakistan are 134/5, with a lead of 209 at the stroke of Tea. Despite losing 5 wickets, Pakistan are still in a healthy position as anything in excess of 250 will be a tough ask for the English batters.

The ball is gripping and Pakistan have good spinners who can utilise the conditions and make life difficult for the opposition. With the ball helping the spinners, Pakistan top order failed in front of England bowlers, but the home side capitalised with the middle order chipping in with crucial runs as Pakistan push for victory.
