Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 32 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In a significant development, RR captain, Sanju Samson, have won the toss and opted to bowl first. 

DC vs RR's Tournament So Far

The Capitals, under the leadership of Axar Patel, have emerged as one of the standout teams this season. They have won four out of their first five matches and are riding high on confidence. 

RR, meanwhile, have experienced an up-and-down journey so far. With just two victories from their four games, the Royals are searching for consistency. A win against a formidable DC side could be the turning point in their campaign and provide much-needed momentum going forward.

Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "We will bowl first. Looks like a good wicket. Ideally it gets better in the 2nd half and that's what we are expecting. I think he will be happy to bowl first. The results and match conditions are different. The condition demands that we chase it. Early stages of the tournament so we want to stick to the conditions and win. To be honest in this competitive stage of the league we need to put past the past results. Whatever happens we will come back and put our best foot forward and expect the best result. We are playing the same side."

Axar Patel (Delhi Capitals Captain): "We would have bowled first as well. We did well in the last game when we bowled first. Dew is a factor here but we will restrict them to a low total if we bowl good today and chase it down later. It's important to learn from the mistakes in the previous game. It's important for us to finish the game. That's what we spoke during the team meetings. I thought we got a bit relaxed during the chase. We have to make sure that we finish the game if we get in a similar situation going forward. We are going with the same team."
