After grabbing the limelight with an unbelievable domestic level, he garnered attention with his maiden IPL contract with the Rajasthan Royals. He became the second youngest Ranji Trophy player to represent Bihar. He crossed 400 run mark in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and later lit up the stage with a fiery century in the U-19 Test against Australia.
