Bollywood actor and Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta was visibly overjoyed after her team’s stunning 16-run victory against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 31 of the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The match, played at the New Chandigarh Stadium, saw leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal deliver a sensational spell that turned the game on its head.

With PBKS defending a modest total of just 111 runs, Chahal emerged as the hero of the night. Having picked up just two wickets in the season prior to this clash, the experienced spinner showed his class by claiming 4/28 in four overs. 

Preity Zinta Shares Warm Hug With Yuzvendra Chahal 

Following the nail-biting finish, Preity Zinta made her way to the ground and shared an emotional moment with Yuzvendra Chahal. She was seen hugging the bowler warmly and engaging in a brief and heartfelt conversation.

Preity Zinta's Much-Awaited Bollywood Return

Preity Zinta is also preparing for her big-screen return. She will be seen in Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. The period drama features a star-studded cast including Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol, marking Preity's much-anticipated comeback to Bollywood.
