The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise is set to go up against familiar nemesis Mumbai Indians in a must-win game at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Currently placed at the bottom of the IPL 2025 points table, MS Dhoni and co. need to defeat Mumbai Indians in a bid to climb higher on the standings around the halfway stage of the competition.
Despite being fully aware of the significance of the contest, several CSK players, including captain Dhoni himself, seem to enjoying their time off the field. Dhoni, along with Sri Lankan speed gun Matheesha Pathirana, Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube and England-import Sam Curran were recently spotted playing a fun ‘lip-reading game’ at a conference.
CSK players play Lip-reading game
On Friday, April 18, CSK captain MS Dhoni along with several of his teammates like Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube and Sam Curran played a friendly lip-reading game. In a video shared by the franchise, the cricketers can be seen wearing noise-cancelling ear pieces, all while trying to hear the famous Bollywood phrase: “Mogambo khush hua”.
As players hilariously attempted to comprehend the quote, each of them failed miserably to catch or understand the age-old Bollywood phrase.

The CSK franchise, under the leadership of MS Dhoni, recently snapped its five-match losing streak by defeating LSG with a five-wicket margin in the last over in Lucknow. With two wins and five defeats from seven matches, the CSK is currently placed at the bottom of the IPL 2025 points table with a dismal NRR of -1.276.
They will now face Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, April 20. The action will commence from 7:30 PM IST onwards.
