After a one-sided clash in Gwalior, the caravan moves towards Delhi as India will take on Bangladesh in the 2nd T20I match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. India lead the series 1-0 and will look to seal the deal with a win on Wednesday.

In the first match, India restricted Bangladesh to a mere 127, and chased down the total inside 12 overs. The stars of the show were Sanju Samson, captain Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, as they made a mockery of the total and helped India win a one-sided contest with ease.

The second T20I will take place in Delhi, and this is not the first time these two teams will play at this venue. In 2019, the Indian team, led by stand-in skipper, Rohit Sharma collided with Bangladesh and suffered a humiliating loss.

Indian batters failed against brilliant Bangladesh bowlers

On a sluggish surface at the Arjun Jaitley stadium, the Indian batters struggled for each and every run. Skipper Rohit Sharma departed for 9, and his opening partner, Shikhar Dhawan played a pain-staking innings of 41 off 42 balls.

Barring Rohit, everyone got a start, but no one converted it into a big match-winning score. Shreyas Iyer (22 off 13), and Rishabh Pant (27 off 26), tried their best and steered India to a decent 148/6.

The Delhi surface was a slow and low surface and the Bangladesh bowlers utilised the conditions to perfection by taking wickets at regular intervals.

Mushfiqur stars in Bangladesh's win

Just like Indian batters, Bangladesh, too, struggled for runs and were going at below 6 runs per over, until Mushfiqur Rahim stepped in. He is someone who is not associated with power-hitting, but on that day, Mushfiqur turned on the god mode.

He pierced the gaps with perfection and played with the bowlers' mind as he breached the 50-run mark with ease. It was a chanceless and fluent innings by one of the best Bangladesh batter as he, alongside Mahmudullah steered Bangladesh to a historic T20I win over India.

Interestingly, this was Bangladesh's first and only T20I win Vs India. Mushfiqur remained unbeaten at 60 off 43 and was awarded the Player of the Match.
