Rohit Sharma's Team India created history on 29th of June in Barbados by beating South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup. Since then, there has been a wave of joy across the country, and when the Men in Blue arrived in the country, they were expectedly given a hero's welcome.

A victory parade was arranged in Mumbai from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium and it turned out to be quite a memorable affair with thousands of fans gathering around their heroes. 

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the team also expressed his emotions during the victory parade and mentioned that he cannot forget 2007 win, but added that the this 2024 victory is special because he was the captain and it is a proud moment for him.

He also talked about the spirit of fans during victory parade before it started, and stated that it is going to be a mad atmosphere in Mumbai today. It turned out to be exactly that there were plenty of iconic moments that will be cherished by all Indian fans for years to come.

Rohit Sharma will now be playing only ODIs and Test cricket for India, as he has retired from T20Is and would be hoping to win the ICC titles in those format as well to sign off his career in style.
