Jasprit Bumrah is once-in-a-generation bowler, and there is no doubting that. His exploits across formats in the last few years have been unmatchable and the man weaved his magic in T20 World Cup by delivering match-winning performances and rightly won the Player of the Tournament award as India bagged their second T20 World Cup title.

India were stuck in Hurricane at Barbados after the win, but once they came back home, it has been quite a journey for them. They met Prime Minister Narendra Modi first in Delhi, and then there was a victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium.

At the Wankhede Stadium, players were felicitated, and Jasprit Bumrah was asked to share his views. He talked about what the victory meant to him and also reassured the fans that he is not going anywhere and he has just started his journey.

'My retirement is far far away, I've just started".

The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja have retired from T20Is, and Jasprit Bumrah will be one of the leading figures to lead the next crop of Indian players as they eye to keep the cricketing flag in India waving high.
