In a significant development, SRH spinner Adam Zampa has been ruled out of IPL 2025. IPL officially took to social media to announce the news of Australia spinner leaving the league mid-season because of an injury.

The injury has not been disclosed by Sunrisers Hyderabad, but the right-arm spinner has been replaced by Indian bowler Smaran Ravichandran. The 21-year-old hails from Karnataka and has been roped in at a base price of 30 lakhs.

Smaran Ravichandran, who represents Karanataka in the domestic circuit,  has played 7 First-Class games, 10 List A matches & 6 T20s. Smaran has 1100 runs and will be available for selection since SRH's next match against Mumbai Indians on April 17.

Talking about Adam Zampa, he has played just 2 matches in this season and taken two wickets. Further, he was replaced by Zeeshan Ansari in the team.

17-Year-Old Ayush Mhatre Replaces Ruturaj Gaikwad

Smaran wasn't the only replacement named by IPL as 17-Year-Old Ayush Mhatre has also officially replaced injured Ruturaj Gaikwad for the remainder of the IPL. It is worth noting that Gaikwad was ruled out because of an elbow injury after he suffered a fracture in CSK's match against Rajasthan Royals.

Mhatre would be available for selection for CSK's upcoming match against MI on April 20.
