'Messi, Argentina You Lost To India' - Netizens Make Insane Claims After IND's Victory Parade

Following India's big T20 World Cup 2024 victory at Barbados, Rohit Sharma and his Men In Blue were welcomed to India with a celebration that was nothing short of royal.

Upon their arrival in Mumbai, the Indian team recreated the 2007 T20 WC victory parade, travelling from Nariman Point to the Wankhede Stadium. 

The parade, originally scheduled for 5 PM, was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. However, this delay did not dampen the spirits of the fans, who demonstrated their patience and dedication by waiting for over six hours for the victory parade. The streets of Mumbai were filled with innumerable fans, all eager to shower their love towards the players, showcasing their unwavering support.

The scale of the celebration drew comparisons to Lionel Messi's victory parade in Argentina after Argentina lifted the 2022 FIFA World Cup.  

Fans on popular social media platform, Twitter went berserk as the scenes were reminiscent of fans surrounding the footballer, much like Rohit Sharma, and the Indian team was very similar.
