AB De Villiers, Alastair Cook And Indian Star Inducted In ICC Hall Of Fame

ICC have added three new members to its Hall Of Fame which include South African great AB de Villiers, Former England skipper Alastair Cook and one of India's finest spinners Neetu David. All three have contributed massively to the their respective team's success and have inspired generation of cricketers and have been rightly induced into the ICC hall of fame.

AB de Villiers is considered one of the best modern-day batters. He is known for his 360-degree batting and has the fastest ODI century to his name. He excelled across formats for South Africa and scored 8765 runs in 114 Tests with an average of 50.66. He has an average of over 50 in ODIs as well and has 9577 runs in his career. He has been pretty successful in T20Is and IPL as well and led South Africa in the 2015 ODI World Cup.

Alastair Cook, on the other hand, is known as one of the finest opening batters in Test cricket and scored 12,472 runs at an average of 45.35. He hit 33 Test centuries and led England in Test and ODIs with great distinction. Cook has a record of playing 159 consecutive Test matches which speaks a lot about his fitness and dedication for the game. Under his leadership, England won a Test series in India in 2012 which is considered as one of the highlights of his career as India have been almost unbeatable at home and have not lost a Test series since then.

Neetu David Joins Diana Edulji In the Illustrious List

India's Neetu David has become the second Indian women after Diana Edulji to get induced in the hall of fame. She picked 141 wickets in 97 ODIs and was the first female cricketer from India to take 100 or more wickets. She is also the second-highest wicket-taker for India in women's cricket and is one of the icon of Indian cricket.
