While speaking on the Star Sports network, SRH batter Heinrich Klaasen stated that his team is aiming to play a certain “brand” of cricket, and will continue to do so even though the results have not gone in their favour lately. Klaasen stated that the SRH group is content at the moment, and they still have a chance of making it to the playoffs in their remaining matches.
“We want to play a certain brand, we are sticking to that brand of cricket. We do understand that we might have games that doesn’t go according to plan but we know the amount of games that we need to win to get into the playoffs. We are happy where we are now and like I said its just about fine tuning it a little bit and to make sure that we can be a little bit more consistent.”
The SRH franchise has managed to register just two wins and sustained six defeats from eight matches to be ranked number nine on the IPL 2025 points table.
At the brink of getting eliminated from the playoffs race, the SRH need to defeat fellow-strugglers CSK in match number 43 of the IPL 2025 season at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The action is slated to commence from 7:30 PM IST onwards.
