Phil Salt is known for his aggressive batting at the top of the order. However, in the ongoing IPL match between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Rajasthan Royals, he displayed his brilliant skills as a fielder.

Notably, RCB are currently playing against the Rajasthan Royals in the 28th match of the tournament at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur Rajasthan. The Challengers won the toss and put the Royals to bat.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Played A Solid Knock For The Home Team

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the opener of the Royals played a steady knock for the team laying the foundation for a formidable total. The southpaw scored 75 runs off 47 balls with 10 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 159.57.

On the last delivery of the 13th over, Krunal Pandya bowled a full delivery at the middle and leg leg stump line. Jaiswal swung across the line of the ball and got it from the inside half of the bat. The ball went in the air and towards the deep mid-wicket fielder. 

Phil Salt stationed at the fence timed his jump to perfection and prevented the ball from sailing away over the fence. With the effort, Salt reminded the RCB fans of their legend, AB de Villiers who was known for putting in such efforts in the field.
