Glenn Maxwell continued his red-hot form on Saturday (October 29) during Australia’s World Cup clash against New Zealand in Dharamsala. The swashbuckling all-rounder slammed 41 off just 24 balls before Jimmy Neesham ended his entertaining knock during the 45th over of Australia’s innings.

Among Maxwell’s audacious hits, the one which he smacked against Mitchell Santner during the 43rd over caught a lot of attention.

It was a juicy flighted delivery by Santner, which Maxwell rightly anticipated, and charged down the track. The all-rounder wanted to send it downtown, and he did it with supreme perfection, as the ball sailed over the ropes, and went on to hit the roof of HPCA stadium.

It was easily the standout hit of Maxwell's five fours and two sixes, indicating his sheer confidence in the middle.
