In another thriller in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Delhi Capitals prevailed in the super over, overcoming Rajasthan Royals. The match went right down to the wire when nine were needed of the final over, but Rajasthan could only manage eight.

Batting first, the Delhi side posted 188 on the board, where Abishek Porel's 49 off 37 deliveries were supported by KL Rahul's 38 and Tristan Stubbs' 34*, while Axar Patel's 14-ball 34 helped the Capitals in a massive way.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals' side were going brilliantly with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana scoring 51 each, whereas Sanju Samson had to retire hurt on 31. Mitchell Starc bowled a brilliant final over to prevent the Royals from chasing down the score, as they could only tie the game. In the end, the match went to the super over where Capitals chased the target of 12 runs set by the Royals' batters.

Meanwhile, CSK's Khaleel Ahmed and LSG's Shardul Thakur have slipped one place below to third and fourth, respectively, while Hardik Pandya is still at his fifth position with ten wickets to his name so far.
