After playing another outstanding knock, Phil Salt has gracefully been awarded the player of the match award for his 33-ball 65, ๐ฅwhich consisted of five boundaries and six gigantic sixes. He thumped runs at an incredible strike rate of 196.97, helping the Royal Challengers chase the score down comfortably with 15 deliveries to spare. He took on Jofra Archer, his English countryman, right from the start. Although he had difficulty facing him in the first over, he then came back strongly with aggressive, confident hits that shattered the confidence of the Royals.

After the conclusion of the 28th match, the points table shows the RCB side in third place with four wins in six matches, having lost two. Both of those defeats have come at their home in Bengaluru, while all their away games have resulted in victories. ๐

The number three batter, Devdutt Padikkal, also did his job incredibly well with 40 not out off 28 balls, as RCB chased the score down in just 17.3 overs with nine wickets to spare.
