Team India showcased a commanding performance to wrap up a clean sweep over Bangladesh in the third and final T20I of the series at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 

The match witnessed an outstanding display of power-hitting from Sanju Samson, who spearheaded India’s batting with a scintillating 111 off just 47 balls. Samson’s explosive innings, featuring 11 boundaries and eight towering sixes, enthralled fans worldwide, including renowned Indian politician Shashi Tharoor, who regretted not being able to witness the Kerala star’s knock in person.

Reflecting on Sanju Samson's brilliance, Tharoor praised the 29-year-old batter for his remarkable feat, calling it one of the finest T20 innings. 'Sanju Samson is a true genius with the bat,'.

Wish i could have seen it live! Keep going, Sanju!” Tharoor tweeted.

After winning the toss, India opted to bat first in the third T20I. It was all about Sanju Samson, who smashed 111 runs in just 46 balls alongside captain Suryakumar Yadav, who contributed a rapid 75 off 35 deliveries. This partnership established a solid foundation for a mammoth total of 297/6. Ultimately, India’s all-rounders Riyan Parag and Hardik Pandya provided the finishing touches with quick-fire contributions. 

In response, Bangladesh struggled to keep pace with India’s massive total. Towhid Hridoy and Litton Das attempted to steer the innings, with the former remaining unbeaten on 63 off 42 balls and the latter smashing 42 off 15. However, apart from these two, Bangladesh’s batting line-up faltered under pressure, as they were bowled out for 164 runs, handing India a thumping 133-run victory.

With this win, India claimed the series in emphatic style, outclassing Bangladesh in every department across all three T20Is.
