The craze for Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is unreal. The 37-year-old is enjoying his time off as the Men in Blue are busy playing the T20I series against Bangladesh. 

Recently, a video went viral on the internet where Rohit, who was spotted practising at the Reliance Corporate Park in Mumbai, had to storm towards his car to escape a sea of fans who surrounded him to click a picture with their idol.

The fans had invaded the practice session and surrounded Rohit for photos. The situation was getting out of hand, which is when Rohit told them that he would oblige with autographs outside the arena. 

Meanwhile, Sharma can also be seen running away and storming towards his car to escape the sea of fans.

In a recent video, the T20 world-winning captain made a fan's day by wishing her a Happy Birthday. Rohit was in his Lamborghini which is when he was stopped by his fans and one of the fans told him that it was her birthday. Rohit obliged her with a handshake and also wished her happy birthday. 

Rohit Sharma Preparing For New Zealand Tour

Rohit Sharma, who retired from T20Is after the T20 World Cup 2024 final, is now focusing on Tests and ODIs. He was recently seen in action against Bangladesh, where he could not perform with the bat. Thus, he would be looking to get back among the runs in the upcoming Test series against New Zealand.

Notably, India will host the Kiwis for two-matches Test series starting on October 18. The Black caps have already released their squad, but India are yet to announce the squad for the crucial Test series.
