The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) franchise seems to hold a fervent fanbase, as evidenced by the unwavering support they have been receiving this IPL 2025 season. Currently ranked fifth on the IPL 2025 points table, the LSG franchise has secured five wins and sustained three defeats from eight matches, all while holding a healthy NRR of 0.088.

Ahead of their all-important home fixture against the Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, April 22, the LSG franchise shared a short wholesome video on their social media accounts. The video in contention, features a particular LSG fan expressing his wish from the team.

Fan hit by Nicholas Pooran’s six expresses his wish

On April 12 in Lucknow, during LSG’s emphatic win over Gujarat Titans, a fan at the Ekana Stadium got hit on the head by a Nicholas Pooran six. Ahead of LSG’s match against Delhi Capitals at the same Lucknow venue, the franchise shared a 48-second video of the fan expressing his heartfelt wish from the franchise.

The fan can be heard saying that he had a nice and friendly talk with Pooran after the game. The fan also added that he does not mind getting hit on the head, and just hopes to see the LSG franchise keeps winning.


Under the leadership of Rishabh Pant, the LSG franchise will now face a high-flying Delhi Capitals unit at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday, April 22. The action is slated to commence from 7:30 PM IST onwards. A win, with a convincing margin, for the LSG at this stage of the tournament will help them jump to the top of the IPL 2025 points table.
