Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 32nd match of IPL 2025 season. The match will be hosted at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 16 at 7.30 PM IST.

DC had a stunning meltdown against Mumbai Indians, losing their last 3 wickets on run outs and finishing 12 runs short of what seemed to be a win.

On the other hand, RR couldn’t defend a competitive total against RCB in their first home game in Jaipur, despite a strong knock from Yashasvi Jaiswal.

This match is crucial for both sides as the tournament heads into its mid-season stretch. Also, RR captain Sanju Samson will get the chance to do a couple of records.

1. Sanju Samson needs 6 sixes to complete 350 sixes in T20s

Sanju Samson needs just 6 more sixes to reach 350 sixes in T20 cricket. He has been known for his clean hitting and elegant strokeplay, especially against spinners. Over the years, Samson has grown into a dependable T20 batter, and this upcoming match gives him a good chance to add another personal milestone to his name.

Whether it’s clearing the boundary with ease or taking on the bowlers in the death overs, Sanju has always been a treat to watch when in full flow. If he gets going in Delhi, fans could be in for a six-hitting show.

2. Sanju Samson needs 1 dismissal to complete 100 dismissals for RR

Being a wicketkeeper, Sanju Samson has also been a good performer behind the stumps. He just requires 1 more dismissal, either catch or stumping, to achieve 100 dismissals for RR. That would place him among the most successful wicketkeepers in IPL history for a single franchise.

Reaching the 100-dismissal mark shows how consistent he has been with the gloves, and it reflects his importance in the RR setup over the years.
