RCB walloped a high-flying Punjab Kings unit by seven wickets in match 37 of the IPL 2025 season. Winning the toss and fielding first, Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma picked up two wickets each to restrict Punjab Kings to 157-6 from 20 overs in Mullanpur, with only opener Prabhsimran Singh and middle-order batter Shashank Singh managing to reach over 30 runs for the hosts.

In response, Virat Kohli bludgeoned an unbeaten 73 from 54 balls with seven boundaries and a six after the early dismissal of opening partner Phil Salt. Number three Devdutt Padikkal also smeared 61 off just 35 as RCB soared past the finishing line with more than an over to spare.

CSK batted first and mounted 176-5 from 20 overs against hosts Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in match 38 of the IPL 2025 season. Debutant and 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre celebrated his landmark game with 32 from just 15 balls, while Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube blasted scintillating half-centuries. For Mumbai Indians, premier paceman Jasprit Bumrah picked up figures of 2-25 from his four overs.

Defending champions Islamabad United registered its fourth win in succession to remain unbeaten this PSL 2025 season. Bowling first, United fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Jason Holder as well as captain Shadab Khan picked up two wickets each to limit David Warner’s Karachi Kings to just 128-7 from 20 overs at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Thereafter, opening batters Sahibzada Farhan and Azam Khan made swift 30s at the top before captain Shadab top-scored in the innings with 47 from 40 balls.
