The Ahmedabad and Lucknow franchises have revealed the salaries of the three players that they have roped in for the IPL 2022.
The Ahmedabad team has named Hardik Pandya as the skipper and the right-handed player will fetch an amount of INR 15 Cr. Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan is the second player who has been included in the squad at INR 15 Cr while youngster Shubman Gill will receive a sum of INR 8 Cr.
The remaining purse for the mega auction that the franchise will have is INR 52 Cr.
On the other side, Lucknow will be led by KL Rahul bagged a lucrative INR 17 Cr contract while the two other players are Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi. Stoinis will get INR 9.2 Cr while Bishnoi will fetch INR 4 Cr and the franchise's remaining purse for the mega auction will be INR 59.8 Cr.
Later, Rahul said that it would be an honour to be a part of the Lucknow team.
"It's an honour to the part of Lucknow IPL and RPSG group. And thanks to Sanjeev Goenka," Rahul commented.
“This team will always fight and give their all,” said the newly appointed Ahmenda skipper, Hardik.
The mega auction is scheduled to take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.
