IPL 2022 | KKR vs DC | Fantasy Tips

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be up against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in ‘Match 41’ of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Both the sides have struggled at the bottom half of the points table.

Both the teams have an equal chance of winning this fixture to keep their chances alive to make it into the playoffs of the tournament.

After some meticulous planning and consideration, we have prepared a list of eleven players that could give you significant benefits in the fantasy contests tonight.

Wicketkeepers:

Rishabh Pant: The Delhi skipper has been a little out of touch compared to the other players in his squad. However, the batter has a great opportunity to fire back into form against Kolkata, who have been misfiring for the last four games. Pant is certainly the most sensible pick out of all wicket keepers.

Batters:

David Warner: David Warner has been the in-form batter for the Delhi Capitals. The player has been in good touch with the bat lately and could be a great addition to the squad.

Prithvi Shaw: Prithvi Shaw could be a great option for tonight’s fantasy eleven. The player will look to convert his good start into something big tonight, and it could be a great opportunity to do so.

Shreyas Iyer: The KKR skipper has a lot on his plate as his side has struggled to earn two points. The batter is the highest run-scorer for his side this tournament and will again look to repeat his good outings with the bat.

All Rounders:

Andre Russell: The Big Man from West Indies has been a cornerstone for the Knight Riders, Russell can single-handedly change the outcome of the game, and his franchise will hope that the player can help them get a much-needed win.

Sunil Narine: Sunil Narine has been effective with the ball for his franchise but looks a little out of touch when it comes to picking up wickets in clutch situations. Narine could be KKR’s strike bowler tonight, with Varun Chakravarthy completely out of touch.

Lalit Yadav: Lalit has been a silver lining for the Capitals with their side misfiring at the moment. The player has the stage set to deliver on the highest level tonight to help his side remain in the race for playoffs.

Bowlers:

Umesh Yadav: Despite starting the tournament with a bang, Umesh Yadav has been a little off-colour in the recent games. He would be looking to bounce back for his team once again.

Shardul Thakur: Shardul Thakur has played some good quickfires' with the bat in hand. But he is yet to impress everyone with the ball in hand. He has an opportunity in front of him to show what he possesses as an all-rounder.

Kuldeep Yadav: Kuldeep Yadav has been a revolution for the Delhi Capitals this season. He has been fantastic after the franchise showed faith in him by fetching him in the auctions. The last time when Yadav played against KKR, he fancied four wickets against his former franchise.

Tim Southee: Tim Southee has been impressive with the new ball for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season. He has bagged 8 wickets from 3 games with an impressive average of 10.0 and economy of 6.67.

Wish Afghanistan and UAE help each other rise together: Younis Khan

Former Pakistan batsman Younis Khan has thanked Emirates Cricket Board for its assistance to Afghanistan cricket. Younis, who is currently with the Afghanistan cricket team as a batting consultant in the ongoing 23-day camp in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has praised the gulf nation for its constant support of Afghanistan cricket and has hoped for the growth of both these countries as two great cricketing nations by mutual cooperation. "Thank you to Abu Dhabi Cricket and UAE cricket; they're helping Afghanistan cricket. They were helping the Pakistan cricket team for long periods, now Afghanistan. So, I hope the bonding is there, and it's my wish that UAE and the Afghanistan Cricket Board gel together, they help each other, and they rise together", Younis was quoted as saying by 'The National News'. Following a horrific terror attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009, Pakistan was sidelined by all touring countries owing to security issues. In the tough days, UAE came forward to help the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by providing its grounds to host Pakistan's home matches. As a result, Pakistan adopted UAE as its home for more than a decade, which developed a beautiful bond between the two corresponding cricket boards. Remembering those days, Younis said that UAE has always given the feel of home because of the similarity in the weather and pitch conditions. Apart from that, one can find many people from Pakistan and Afghanistan in UAE, a fact that never lets the players from these two countries feel alienated. Further, the legendary cricketer with 118 Test caps revealed that this gathering in the holy month of Ramzan had brought the entire unit together. Elaborating, Younis said that they pray and dine together, which has played a significant role in strengthening team bonding. "The holy month of Ramadan provides much bonding for the team because you have Iftari, and then you have Sehri," Younis said. "You pray together, so these kinds of things are good for the team and, especially if you're away from home, you need this kind of bonding", the 44-year-old concluded.
