Harry Brook is a superstar in the making and the England batter is on his way to achieve greatness in the game's longest format. The Yorkshire batter slammed a majestic triple century in the Multan Test and etched his name in the history books.

He scored a breath-taking 317 off 322 deliveries and became just the sixth English batter to slam a triple century in Test cricket, a remarkable feat in its own right. Ever since Brook made his international debut for England, the comparison started with fellow Yorkshire batter, Joe Root.

Brook to surpass Joe Root's legacy

In the Multan Test, Brook hogged all the limelight with a triple ton, but Root laid the foundation as he struck a brilliant double century - his 6th in Tests, as England thrashed Pakistan by an innings to go 1-0 up in the series. The duo of Brook and Root added more than 400-runs in the first innings as the Pakistan bowlers were made to look helpless.

After the heroic Test win at Multan, former England cricketer and one of the greats of the game, James Anderson made a huge prediction with relation to Brook. Anderson stated that Brook has all the traits in the world to become England's greatest cricketer, even surpassing the likes of Joe Root and Kevin Pietersen.

"He's on the way to being in the top three that I've played with," Anderson said on his Tailenders podcast. "It's Root, Pietersen and him. He's definitely got all the attributes to overtake them.

"He's just got everything. Without trying to big him up too much because he's still really early in his Test career, I do think that he's got the perfect amount of each of those two and that's what will make him the best that we've ever had."

Brook's astonishing Test record Vs Pakistan

Every player in the world has a favourite opponent, against whom he feels at home. For Brook, that opponent is Pakistan. The right-handed batter has mind-boggling stats against the Asian side.

In 4 Tests, he has accumulated 785 runs, at an astonishing average of 130.83, including 4 centuries and a solitary fifty. These are alien numbers and it shows the special talent Brook possesses.

The future England captain has a chance to further improve his stats as England will play two more Tests against Pakistan and have a great chance to whitewash the home team.
